Installation Services

Farben has developed a team of professionals capable of carrying out design and specification that will meet specific requirements. We can undertake "turn-key" projects. In this type of arrangement, Farben will ensure the system will perform as specified. With the experience gained from numerous projects, systems installed by Farben will be optimal. Farben has the knowhow and the equipments to ensure good finishing. For example we have the machinery to cut through your lawn to install underground pipes without loosening the soil and thus causing no damages to your lawn. Others included crimping devices, drills and diamond cutters etc that enable us conceal tubing in the wall.

We have computer softwares that will help us fit the best combinations of sprinklers in your garden, estimate the material quantity and costs. This will enable us do things right the first time. The accuracy in estimation means we do not build big buffers for contingencies. Our workers undergo training to familiarize with our installation process which are well documented and closely adhered to. As a result we can deliver the best quality and an optimal system for your garden.

Maintenance Services

Farben also provide maintenance services to keep your system in working condition. There are different packages to suit your needs but we recommend the comprehensive package where Farben will check your system quarterly to perform a thorough check, cleaning the filters and service the timer and pop-up sprinklers. Any malfunctioning parts will be replaced without any additional charges for either parts or labour.

Maintenance Packages

Package A - Comprehensive (Users gets a tip-top system all the time)

• Planned quarterly visits to your facilities.
• The whole system checked and tuned to ensure that it is tip-top condition.
• In the event there is and breakdowns outside the plan visits, Farben will rectify the problem at no extra charge.
• All mal-perform items will be replaced at no extra charge.
• All parts inclusive in the annual maintenance fee.
• Does not cover damages caused by vandalism, animals and negligence.
• Does not cover system extensions or additions.
• Does not include consumables – batteries.

Package B - Routine

• Same as Package A except parts are not covered. Charges will be according to actual cost of parts used.
• Visits outside the routine checks will be separately charged.

Package C - Ad hoc

• Charges will be made on per call basis.
• All parts replaced will be charged accordingly
• Farben will endeavour to attend to the problem ASAP subjected to availability of resources.

Costs

Package A

• 12% of the system cost with 1% increase annually subjected to a max of 17%. Additional cost to undertake battery change twice a year
• RM 20 per timer (Diaphragm / Solenoids Timer) and
• RM 15 per timer (Ball / Valve Type)

* Farben shall claim for transport cost and labour charges in the event the request for service is to attend breakdowns not covered by this package.

Package B - 6% of the system cost

Package C - min of RM80 per trip.

In order to cover our fixed cost, the minimum annual charge shall be RM 200 p.a The fee for package A and B are payable in advance upon signing the maintenance package.
